Hello The Penn Speaks Family!
Today’s inspiration comes from I Samuel chapter 16:14-23. Indeed! You should know that the first time David set foot in the king’s court was not when he had his own crown but when King Saul put him on staff. You should also know that King Saul was jealous of David and repeatedly tried to kill him. You should also know that David knew he was anointed to be the next king of Israel. I don’t know if David ever wondered this, but I know I might have wondered, “Then, why is God making me serve this guy?” Two things to learn from this passage of scripture:
1.) Respect even the people who don’t like you.
2.)Don’t complain about the little jobs or the baby steps.
You never know how God is using #1 or #2 to promote you.
May we continue to grow spiritually in the Lord together. Until next time, have a blessed day!
