How to Choose Who You Let Into Your Life

meme - look on heart not outer

Hello The Penn Speaks Family!

Today’s inspiration comes from I Samuel chapter 16:7. If looking on the heart rather than on outside countenance works when it comes to God selecting a king, surely the rule is good enough to use when selecting your spouse. Furthermore, the rule is applicable far beyond kings and marriage. Who we choose to interact with should not be based on their possessions, attractiveness, or anything beyond the content of their character — what they are like on the inside. If we are going to walk after Christ, we must utilize this rule with everyone we encounter. As you go about your week, keep this in mind, and see how it not only changes your outlook on life but enriches it as well.

May we continue to grow spiritually in the Lord together. Until next time, have a blessed day!
