Today’s Prayer Challenge: Thanking Jesus for the Joy He Brings Into Our Lives

“1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved….4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say Rejoice.” ~ Philippians 4:1,4 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today thanking You for revealing to us through Your Word that You are our true source of joy. Though there are people and things in this world that can make us happy, none of them can bring us joy like Your divine presence in our lives. The unconditional love, blessings, protection, and more that You shower us with each and everyday are enough to bring us joy in each and every way. And for that, we thank You.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
