Today’s Prayer Challenge: Exercising the Power of Fearlessness

“27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ….28 And in nothing [be] terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.” ~ Philippians 1:27a — 28 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that You will help us to exercise the spirit of fearlessness that You have called us to. Father, we know that You would not encourage us to stand strong in the face of our enemies and then fall through when we need You the most. Thank you for squeezing every inch of fright out of us and for helping us to realize the power we have to destroy our enemies when we simply trust in You.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
