Today’s Prayer Challenge: To Not Be A Spineless Christian

“14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth” ~ Ephesians 6:14 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that we will gird our loins with truth, for it is truth that gives us the backbone to walk uprightly. Truth is the basis for our strong spiritual support structure. Without it, we cannot function effectively. We cannot serve You to the fullest if we are spiritually bent over from depending on the world’s version of truth. May we protect the seat of our strength with the invincible shield of protection Your pristine truth has to offer.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
