Today’s Prayer Challenge: To Speak Truth Despite Opposition

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” ~ Galatians 4:16 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that You will give us the strength to speak the truth of Your Word despite the opposition we may face from others. We stand for You and no one else. We stand on the side of right, and the side of right is wherever You are. Father, likewise, please make our hearts receptive to the truth when others correct us according to Your scriptures. We must understand that in this life we are never done growing. Hence, sometimes we will be wrong. As humans, we like to be right all of the time, but thank You, Lord, for giving us hearts of humility.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
