Today’s Prayer Challenge: To Celebrate & Give Thanks For Being A Part Of God’s Family

“4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” ~ Galatians 4:4 — 5 (KJV)

Dear Lord,We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today thanking You for welcoming us into Your divine family. It is truly and an honor and a privilege to be able to call You our Heavenly Father. May we set aside all hindrances that keep us from loving You with all of our hearts. Thank You, also, for helping us to love our brothers and sisters in Christ — no matter what they do — with that familial love You have called us to. Likewise we are honored that You see fit to call us Your children. Wretched in our sins and flesh, who are we to deserve such love? And, this is exactly why we love You.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
