Today’s Prayer Challenge: To Keep My Priorities Straight As A Virtuous Woman

“28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her…30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” ~ Proverbs 31:28, 30 — 31

Dear Lord,We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that You will help us to be virtuous women who keep our priorities straight with You at the helm. Father, Your Word gives us many different aspects of the good wife, but let us not confuse those with keeping You first in our lives. We know that if we do that, everything else will fall into place. Although we may receive praises from those around us, and although it is nice and makes us feel good, please help us to remember that making You happy is what is most important.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
