Today’s Prayer Challenge: Being The Wife Who Is A Spiritual Fortress

“17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms…25 Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” ~ Proverbs 31:17, 25 — 26 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that You will help us to be wives — or potential wives — who are spiritual fortresses. May we be rooted in Your Word so that our mouths effortlessly issue forth nothing but wisdom and kindness. Father, please gird us with Your strength that we may stand beside our husbands as examples and guides for our children on how to follow diligently after You.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
