Today’s Prayer Challenge: To Realize & Utilize What God Has Invested in Us

 The Penn Speaks prayer challenge

“24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: 25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; 26 The conies* are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; 27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; 28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.” ~ Proverbs 30:24 — 28 (KJV)

Dear Lord,

We first and foremost come to You giving You all the praise, glory, and honor as the one and only true and living God. We thank You for salvation — sending Your Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life with You in heaven. Please forgive us of our sins, and we thank You in advance for helping us to overcome our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Lord, we come with a special prayer today that You will help us to realize and utilize the gifts, talents, skills, and potential that You have invested in us. We know that if You instilled in ants the capacity to plan ahead, in locusts the ability to operate as a team without a captain, and in spiders the skill to weave their way into high places, You have filled us to the brim. Furthermore, we need not doubt the wisdom and skills You have invested in us. Knowing this, Father, may we operate in our most proficient capacity with utmost efficiency and achieve our highest potential.

It is in the magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen.
