How to Minimize Gossip in Your Life

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you…drum roll, please…gossip prevention! This brings us to our key text coming out of Proverbs 25:9 –10 (KJV). The Word of the Lord reads:

If you have a problem with Sally, Sue cannot resolve the problem for you. You have to go talk to Sally for yourself. It’s as simple as that. In other words, stick to handling business with the parties involved. Don’t go inviting other guests to the dilemma soiree. You will only end up wishing you never welcomed them. There is one exception to this rule, however. God should always be welcome to the party. Unlike fickle people who are just in for a real-life soap opera and some new subject matter to discuss with their friends, Our Heavenly Father actually wants to be of help. Don’t leave Him outside knocking on the door and wondering why you aren’t letting Him in. Jesus, in all of His greatness, has the power to resolve any problem, conflict, or altercation you may have no matter who you are dealing with, AND He’ll do it confidentially.

Have a blessed day!
