Two girls were sitting on their couch at their Florida home when they heard a crash outside. When they looked to see what happened, they saw that their 80-year-old neighbor across the street had slammed her car through her own garage door. Before they even knew it, they were diving out of the way of her vehicle as it shot backwards into their living room.
One of the girls said, “If I had still been sitting on the couch where I was, I would have died.” The other girl said, “My heart just dropped to the floor. I was so afraid.” While the girls were regaining their composure and climbing out of the rubble, other neighbors were rushing to put out the fire that swelled up in the kitchen of the elderly woman.
No one was injured, but both houses have serious damage, and both families will have to find temporary housing. Click to view video.
