Look out Willow Smith! Nick Jonas is looking for the next you. This 18-year-old Jonas brother is joining forces with Quaker Chewy Superstar Search to discover the next soon-to-be pop star ranging from 8 – 14 years of age. Joe told MTV that he is looking for someone who can take songs and make them into their own. He continues to say:
”It’s gonna be interesting to see what kinds of video submissions we see and the talent we’re looking at. I’m excited, ’cause if we can find a young person who’s as passionate about music as I was then, we’ll be in really good shape…I think for this particular competition, I have to keep it in the mindset of young artists at this moment, so I’d say, like, somebody with the overall star power and star qualities of Willow Smith, with the artistry of a Greyson Chance….”
Whoever wins this competition will have the privilege of recording a song produced by none other than Nick Jonas. He or she will also get to make an online music video, have the opportunity to sign with Jonas Group Management, and receive $5,000 cash.
